How to Test Your SMTP

To verify that the SMTP server is fully operational (ports 25 and 587 open), please send a test email to:

Unlimited SMTP is optimized for business domain email lists.

Sending to consumer email providers such as Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, Office 365, and similar services typically yields poor results.

We do not offer warranty, refunds, or replacements in cases where performance expectations exceed current technical capabilities for these providers.

We are happy to recommend suitable solutions and can arrange technical testing for more advanced delivery methods if needed.

Recommended Email Sending Speeds to Prevent Server Freezing

To avoid overloading and freezing the server, keep the following guidelines in mind:
  • Plain-text emails: Use 1–5 concurrent threads on a 4 GB RAM server.
  • Emails with attachments: Limit the rate to 1 email per second (or set thread count = 1).
Sending too quickly causes resource exhaustion, which can freeze the machine and drop SMTP connections (e.g., after ~5,000 messages). Always reduce the transmission speed if you notice instability, and reinstall the SMTP software if the connection is lost.

However, you can also experiment by gradually increasing the number of threads to achieve a higher email sending speed.
