Bitcoin Core wallet with 340 BTC in wallet.dat file, no passphrase. Btcrecover software recovers the passphrase

A close friend who trusts me completely sent me a wallet.dat file created with Bitcoin Core back in 2010. He asked me to try recovering the passphrase.I spent weeks researching every available wallet recovery tool I could find. In the end, the only realistic option left was a Python-based tool called btcrecover. I ran it non-stop for nearly a month, trying countless combinations, but had no success.Feeling stuck, I decided to share this publicly partly for fun, and partly in hopes that someone more skilled or better equipped might be able to crack it.I’m not a tech expert by any means. I don’t even know if this wallet actually contains the claimed 340 BTC. My friend simply trusted me with the file, and I’m sharing it in the spirit of curiosity and opportunity.This could be a life-changing chance… or it could be a complete waste of time and energy for everyone involved. Either way, it’s an interesting technical challenge worth exploring.If you’re sharp, patient, and know what you’re doing, this might be yours to claim. I can’t guarantee it’s real, but everything I’ve shown on screen is authentic. Whether the wallet actually holds Bitcoin is something you’ll have to discover for yourself.It’s a high-risk, high-reward gamble and an intriguing research project at the very least.
